SEQ Local Food Summit - Policy Forum

July 30, 2024

DAY 3 - Policy Forum - 30 by 2032

An intensive conference bringing together policy leaders and decision makers for strategy and lightning talks for a more secure food future. Day 3 will be focussed on the opportunities and barriers between our current state and the target of a 30% increase in local food sourcing by 2032, and what we need to do to make tangible progress toward this goal.

Guest speakers include Robert Pekin, who will launch the FCF's Values-based Supply Chain report, and Churchill Fellow Leah Galvin, who explored government and business models of sustainable food procurement across seven countries and is currently leading a groundbreaking procurement project in Tasmania.

Please note the Policy Forum is by invitation only. To express interest, please email emma-kate@foodconnectfoundation.org.au with a brief outline of your involvement in policy or food systems, and what you'd like to contribute or gain from the sessions.
